Thanks for the .stl HoolyHoo, it looks great. Will give printing it a go.
Does Kite sell the fan seperately? I got in on the 1st CSO order but the fan was optional. Or does anyone know where I could get one?
He was selling them as an add on. Not sure if he still is. Try emailing him.

Thanks HoolyHoo for sharing your design.

It took me more then 5 attempts to print it in a good quality. I'm fresh on 3D printing

This was my first very ugly (shame on me) print with grey PLA:

and after some slicer settings and cancelled prints later, i got it :D

This time printed with silver PLA:

Thank you!

Yeah, 3D printing just takes a little time to learn the "tricks". Much improved from your first print. :D Hope you enjoy. :D

Does anyone have a few pics of the assembly for the power mode switch? I'm a little lost as to what the button support and tab are used for.

That looks awesome! Does it interfere with the 4 dmg button backboard you sent me? I looked on your Instagram and it looks like it would be a tight fit. I’d really like to grab one of these if it will work with that backboard. Kubino is already cutting my case so I think it is too late to change it up again. Poor guy, I’ve sent him like ten revisions on what I want.

FYI Everyone, I just uploaded these amazing files that HoolyHoo graciously provided us with to Shapeways ( I have used them EXTENSIVELY for lightsaber chassis parts) and ordered them. They’re being printed with high strength HP Nylon, black for the inside parts, and grey for the cartridge. They use a powder fusion process for those parts so there shouldn’t be any visible print lines (virtually none at least). I am going for a super clean build so I thought I would be the Guinea pig and try it out. That being said, these files look amazing blown up. The detail is astounding. I will post pictures on here when I get the parts in, and test fit them as well. I expect excellence.

For clarification, I uploaded them for myself, so you will not be able to see them on there unless you upload them yourself.

It will be in on Saturday according to the tracking. I will try hard to snap a few pictures before I leave for Mexico on Sunday. Feel free to message me on Saturday to remind me to post pics. I’ve got a big head, and it’s all cobwebs.
