Re: Donations
Wasn't it an amazing time when the Australian dollar was the same as the USD, so good.crispy_tofu wrote:...Which makes me cry a little bit on the inside.HUg0005 wrote:Same! But shipping to Australia would be the same price as the tee shirt!crispy_tofu wrote: I would buy that.
Wermy I would be more than happy to send a donation, in a short amount of time look at the great community that had sprang up. You have also managed to stop my procrastination and make the second room of our apartment (that has sat empty for nearly a year) into a makerspace for my girlfriend and I. Now I have a new project to break up the tedium that is working and sleeping.

I'll think about it. Maybe I'll just put a tip-jar paypal link in the footer or something, so it's not too in-your-face but if someone asks I can point them there.
I would like to make you a donation or something like that to thank you for the work you are doing
Thank you!

Re: Donations
A possible justification for the donations is an anonymous funding for supplies, materials, and resources for current and future projects.

Re: Donations
Hmm maybe setup a shop?
Members could donate leftovers, custom PCBs, lasercut stuff, 3D printed parts etc that you could resell.
Tshirts, stickers or other merch could also be a possibility.
Ofc this will be yet another timesink :s
But you really should add a donationbutton.

Plus, most stuff people would have left overs of is pretty cheap and the shipping would be much more expensive, I guess.solder wrote:Hmm maybe setup a shop?
