VMµ - Sega Dreamcast VMU Project
Re: VMµ - Sega Dreamcast VMU Project
Excellent work wermy, I can't stress enough how much you've inspired me to get into electronics.
While I wait for the parts to arrive to give this one a try, I noticed I'm not sure how you put in the VMU connector . Do you happen to have some pictures on how you connected it to charge, rotate the screen and receive input from the controller?

Just waiting on PCBs from OSHPark now to get this one underway. Hoping they rock up today.
Was initially going to slice the original PCB as Wermy has done but then found these little numbers by smoki86:

Will be using the an original grey for this build and will post updates as I go

Re: VMµ - Sega Dreamcast VMU Project
Hey wermy,
I noticed on one of your IG pictures that the corners of a similar screen used for this project were shaved off a little bit (not sure if that one was used for this project or not)
I've been battling with making that same screen fit in the VMU. Did you used the x-acto knife or the Dremel to cut them out?
Thanks!

So I don't have a 3D printer but I found somewhere online (shapeways.com) to print the bracket you printed , only problem is I don't know the dimensions. Should it be fine to print just uploading the files?
