Both stereo channels to one speaker?

Both stereo channels to one speaker?

It seems that with some games I'm only getting one audio channel going through the single gb speaker. Is there a way to get both left and right channels to go through that one speaker?
I have the code in the config file for the gpio 18 and 13 stereo setup. Will the mono code achieve both channels into one mix?

I was told that it does but haven't tried it out yet
