Wanted: Complete Game boy Pi Zero

Post by Rex » Tue Jul 19, 2016 8:54 pm

Hi there,
Great work by the way guys. I was curious whether anyone would be interested in building a Pi Zero unit (preferably similar to wermy's, wermy if you're up to it) for my son and I? Is there a price that would be interesting to you and worth your time/take seriously (I am quite serious in contracting it out to you for a price)? Please let me know, cheers thanks.

I think there are a few folk on here making multiple GameBoy Zeros, myself included. I was hoping to sell one as a way to recover some of the cost. Probably be some time before mine is complete though.

On Etsy and Ebay, thay range from $300 low end to $400 high end. Plus, if someone is using a VGA screen, that costs over $100 already so you have to consider that as well.

As long as you understand that this is a mod installation and probably does not come with any money back guarantee. I mean, we are still in testing phase to be honest with this project. We are finding little things that can be improved (Helder's all-in-one-boards, developed (fan and L and R button case attachments) and created (3d printing stuff) so it might be worth wild to wait a while.

Plus, I would really really really be careful about handling or selling any batteries because these are dangerous.

In my personal option, this is a hobby thing, not a sell to others thing but that is my opinion.
