1. Does the gameboy jack diagram assume the pcb is still soldered? Since this would cause the two bottom pins to be connected at all times. Desoldering would mean all five pins are independent (i think).
2. When you say left out and right out, is this what would go to the single speaker to achieve a left + right "mix" in the speaker but independent channels when headphones are connected?
1. I am not sure about the soldered situation. I am talking about the jack itself, not soldered onto anything, in it's orignal form.
2. Output is the speaker, yes. Input comes from either your USB DAC or the Amplifier into the Jack, either into your Headphones or if not plugged in, into your Speaker. But i don't think wiring both channels to a single speaker would be wise.
