Hey @jonlimitless

The purpose of that diagram being posted on this thread is basically just to show how the all in one is hooked up. @a3k4 also wanted to show the pololu being included. The pololu allows for a graceful shutdown with a switch or low battery. Its something that @popcorn came up with, also @camble is coming up an alternative solution. Links below.

I took it upon my self to use the very limited program Paint (since I don't have access to photoshop at work) and apply the fix indicated by @helder on his thread. Hopefully this is correct, feedback is welcome.

@hueblo Question, what exactly is the purpose of the Pololu Mini MOSFET slide switch protector and Main On/Off? Is this some setup to work with the original gameboy on and off switch? I haven't been around for a while and noticed it in your diagram. Wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something logically since I was going to post asking if anyone knew about a 3rd party version of the DMG on/off switch (building a non-salvage game boy zero). Thank you for your time and response.

@sniperwolfjs1 Read the original post, the big red text.

@jonlimitless Thanks for the insight.

Added a guide to program it using Arduino IDE
http://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=1176

This bootloader I used is such a pain and I wasn't aware of it being such a pain to get into bootloader mode until now. All future boards will get the official Leonardo bootloader so it's much simpler to program.

I'll also have a USBasp ISP programmer guide soon too for those with the $3 device I linked to in the first post, this is the way to go for programming as it's a no fuss no pain process.

It does come pre-programmed with the bootloader so you don't need to do ISP though it does not have the sketch inside so you need to get it from the github (http://github.com/oxodao/GBZGamepad) and flash it on the board. To do this, simply put a usb wire on the "To raspberry" thing then plug it in your computer and flash it through Arduino software :)

It's already programmed but the analog stick acts up if that is programmed to use the stick and there isn't one present. So for the first batchers I have provided a guide that will also apply to the preorders to reprogram it to use the analog stick or not and also @Oxodao has linked the github with the keyboard sketch for those who want to use that.

The preorder and every batch after it will have the standard Leonardo Bootloader installed to be easier to program.

UPDATE:
Boards are starting to be assembled and Monday they will be shipped out to me, I expect them on Wednesday which is when I will start programming them and shipping them out and also selling the remaining 25.

I'm not taking reservations for the 25, they are to be made public for anyone to grab so don't ask about it. Thursday I will be starting the 3rd preorder.

here is one of the Assembled Boards:

Notice those 2 capacitor looking things under the PAM Amp? EMI Ferrite Beads built in to the board so no static on the speaker output.

Oh by the way @helder, The board does not fit with the original gameboy speaker, and does background noise.. (Maybe my board needed a fix ?) Same while using headphones.. Or maybe my wires are too small gauge

Thanks for the Update!

I ordered two first revision boards (they are still on their way). Two follow-up questions:

Do I understand it correctly that the first revision boards have been programmed assuming that an analog stick is installed and used? And if not, does the capacitor-workaround fix the issue without the need for re-programming?

You mentioned the "no-static" fix for audio output on the second revision of the boards. Does that mean that there is static on audio using the first revision boards and if yes, is there a fix for that?

I'm aware of the speaker as that was mentioned earlier in the thread but the preorder assembled boards have this taken care of and have the Ferrite Beads in the board to get rid of noise in the audio. Also check the volume wheel you're using and adjust it accordingly and use retropie to increase or decrease the volume till it sounds good.

The capacitor fix stabilizes the pot values but they're still acting up since it picks up any thing electrical as a movement so reprogramming it will be needed unless you use an analog stick.

There have been some people saying they hear some buzzing on the output so to eliminate any possibility of this then I added the EMI filter. By adjusting the volume with the Wheel and adjusting the volume in Retropi you can get it to sound fine but if anyone wants some ferrite beads just contact me as I have 16,000 of them.

Simply solder them to the speaker + terminal and solder the wire to the bead, basically the bead is put in between the speaker and wire.
