Do you do a separate board for the audio part, or if you havent finished the new version, is there any way to space the pins out (at the top) further?
I'm sure there are others out there like me who struggled with the kitsch bent boards

The pins are already spaced out and holes larger than kitsch-bent's board and has been like this for a long time.

No I don't have the audio separate.

Thanks for getting back and letting me know. Sounds like this would replace the pam8403 and usb dac i picked up (nothing else needed?) although at least i can still use the pot and headphone socket off those.

One of the Negatives was enough to have stereo sound during my testing when I was designing the board and I left that tiny pad off to the side in case it would be needed in the future. I have a new design being tested this up coming week that uses both negatives and positives and eliminates all the confusion people have with wiring the sockets and speakers.

It seems connecting them together is a bad idea!

Using resistors that tie into the Speaker Negative terminal, there are many diagrams and discussions on this subject online and seeing as the speaker isn't really that powerful it shouldn't be much of an issue and this is why I will do testing to see what values work best.

Hmm would there be an issue for those of us using a different speaker? E.g 8 ohm 5w?

It'll work but probably not get the power it needs to output the sound that speaker can handle.

The PAM8403 can handle 3W and 4ohm according to the datasheet and can do 8ohm too but the efficiency is less.

Hy. Just a quick question. Is this also on preorder basis? Because I don't really need the whole package (I have a lot of the stuff already) but I would really like to order the board with the audio already built in. So if I pay to your paypal account now will I be on a preorder list or something or do I have to wait for you to announce a new stock?
