Connecting teensy to pi0?
Re: Connecting teensy to pi0?
That is what I did. I just put some electrical tape over the plastic, then put down the copper tape.

I don't see how that could be a fire hazard, that should be fine.dirtybeagles wrote:Fleder could I tap down the copper on a piece of plastic so it is not as flimsy or would that be a fire hazard?

Yeah, you should be good to go. If your hardware gets hot enough to melt this, you've got other problemsdirtybeagles wrote:Fleder could I tap down the copper on a piece of plastic so it is not as flimsy or would that be a fire hazard?

Re: Connecting teensy to pi0?
Just an FYI, I am scrapping that amazon USB hub... It is taking too much time trying to desolder the ports. I do not want to waste my time fooling around with it so I purchased this one after reading the other forms (http://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic. ... +hub#p2643). I ended up getting this one. http://www.amazon.com/Adapter-Powered-C ... ge_o00_s00

I bought a usb squid http://www.amazon.com/Satzuma-Squid-sha ... =Usb+squid it has a very low profile board, also it has an I dictator light I'm going to rewire towards the top of the screen so I can still have a power light.

Wondering if you could help me out with a problem. I put everything together like this: removed
When I turn the pi0 on via the switch, the screen comes on and the pi0 boots into retropie. Not getting anything from the teensy though. I was going to do the USB hub later so I connected it like the picture. Do I have anything incorrect? Also, not sure if I have sound yet.

Re: Connecting teensy to pi0?
I think I have my Green and Blue cables solder incorrectly to the Teenzy 3.2. I am going to swap them and see if I get a different result.
I am also going to change the power and ground from my BW composite screen board and connect it straight to the powerboost 1000c too.
I will post my results.

Ok. swapping the Green and Blue worked. But some keys do not work... Will connect to my PC to test that. I do not have sound at all. But I can move that to another thread. At least I know the Teenzy works.

Re: Connecting teensy to pi0?
Well only three keys work on the teensy 3.2. Before I connected them to the pi0 they worked via USB to my PC.
Any suggestions?

Re: Connecting teensy to pi0?
I found the issue. My controller board was not leveled at all. I readjusted and all the keys work now.
