thats a really nice build! From where did you get this low profile switch?
Thanks! The part number for the switch is SK-22H07. They are sold in bulk. Not sure you'll be able to by them individually but if you find somewhere, please post a link. I was lucky to get a few from another forum member who did me a favor.
I found this switch which looks very good to me: http://www.conrad.com/ce/en/product/138 ... 1202-1-pcs

Looks good height wise. How's the length of the slide?

A few posts up there are a couple of eBay links to the ones I used. :D

By the way, I made a small pie shaped 3D part to go in that cavity to support the switch. I assume you could do the same. ;)

The slide length is a little shorter but ok. You can see the gap on the picture. If you switch it the gap on the other side will be the same. If have also ordered the switches from the eBay link but they need really long to arrive.

This switch has also the advantage that the ends are closed.

Good idea, I will also made such a 3d printed pie part.

>Custom fit the Ext Connector cover to cover the external USB

Can we get more info/pictures for this? Sounds interesting. I haven't thrown all of my covers away so that would be a cool use of them.
Yeah this part was easy. It came with my case and saw it sitting there and said, oh I think that will fit the USB port.

Took this.

With a sharp exacto knife, notched it like this.

Finished results.

Attaches nice and snug and doesn't fall out but easy enough to remove if USB needed. :D
Nicely done, great build. Now someone needs to 3D print a cover for the micro usb port! That would really give a finished look.

The one thing I love about your build besides how clean and simple it is. The shoulder button placement. I have been looking other builds trying to get ideas and see what works best. Do you remember what switch/button you used for this shoulder buttons. I could assume the typical 6x6x9 button.

Your build looks amazing the more I look at it.

I ordered one your brackets for the screen and can't wait to use it!
