Yeah, that was my point. Why use the compute module? Because it's a Pi3 that's the size of a Pi0. So it's easier to cram a more powerful computer in your GBZ

Ya, no worries. Some people may not know the processing power differences so I wanted to point them out. Thanks for the size comparison graphic.

The only benefit that I can see of having Bluetooth would be for those of us who happen to have Bluetooth headsets, although I don't know if there is the profiles for bluetooth sound loaded in retropie.inches wrote: ↑Mon May 29, 2017 8:36 am
There will be an option of WiFi per special request direct from @Helder. I've reserved space on my board to complement his AIO board needs. I don't plan on including Bluetooth because I don't see any significant benefit of the feature for an emulator handheld. Perhaps on a later build if I see a benefit but this board is nearly complete.
The price has not settled yet. I'm still working out components and manufacturing.

Great Job!
Maybe you can consider putting the CM3 facing outwards so the shell can have some openings there for cooling or even a fan sitting on top of the chip?

Re: [Update #7] Inches' CeMu+(S)AIO board (Compute Module 3 build)
It looks as if that would work as well if you decided to go that route. You might need to cut the battery bay and use magnets like in Kite's build. Ultimately you can put this wherever you would like to provided you find a comfortable spot to keep the FPC cable happy. The first option is just where it fits best. I'll have to run it a while and check temps once I get the SAIO board in.
If you are building with Helder's AIO then you have many more options because the FPC cable will not be a limiting factor.
Otherwise if you use the original orientation you can put a fan in the cart bay and you would probably move a lot of air around successfully.

I highly reccoment this FPC Cable as it is flexible. it gives you alot mor options about placement.
Used this in my build with Saio and pi 3. worked really well..

Awesome work dude! I had that same deflated feeling doing a .5mm pitch FPC that wouldn't rectify. Going to have to re do it yet.
