There's a battery dimensions thread on this forum. You might find the available dimensions there.obsidianspider wrote: ↑Wed Jun 28, 2017 1:34 pmI was looking at the 1200mAh battery that came in and it's only sightly thinner than the 2000mAh battery I had sitting around intending to go into another project. How much is battery thickness an issue with this build? I tried searching through past posts and I thought it was discussed, but I just can't find it.
2000mAh Battery: 60mm x 36mm x 7mm
1200mAh Battery: 62mm x 34mm x 5mm

wermy didn't post the exact dimensions but gives a reason why the 2000mAh battery he tested didn't work. The minimal extra increase in height caused the buttons to make contact with the screen when the unit was closed.

I already own both batteries. I wasn't sure if the extra 2mm of thickness would be an issue with the MintyPi.Mad_Fox wrote: ↑Wed Jun 28, 2017 1:43 pmThere's a battery dimensions thread on this forum. Ah, thanks. I knew I saw that somewhere. Sometimes 2mm is enough to make a difference.dryja123 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 28, 2017 1:56 pmThe answers you seek are found in the Wiki: http://www.sudomod.com/wiki/index.php?title=MintyPiobsidianspider wrote: ↑Wed Jun 28, 2017 1:34 pmI was looking at the 1200mAh battery that came in and it's only sightly thinner than the 2000mAh battery I had sitting around intending to go into another project. Hi
First off is there any other way to buy the 3D printed parts other then PayPal.
Next, I've only seen the red 3D printed parts outside of the console why don't you show any other of the parts like spearmint?
Next, will a kit be available to buy instead of buying the parts separately?
Finally, what game can be playable with mintypi?
Bye

Paypal: Nope, paypal is one of the easier and safer ways for all parties involved, so that's the only option for now.A!d3n wrote: ↑Thu Jun 29, 2017 9:32 pmHi

Colors: The other colors are shown in the initial mintyPi 2.0 video I did, as well as several posts on here and the sale thread and market listing: http://market.sudomod.com/mintypi-3d-printed-parts-set/
Or were you asking to see stacks of printed parts of other colors, like I've posted with the red parts?
Kits: Maybe at some point down the road but not at the moment.
Games: Look up 'Raspberry Pi Zero emulators' on youtube, there are a bajillion videos showing what it can handle.

For what it's worth, I don't have a PayPal account and I was able to purchase just fine. You have the option to use a credit/debit card during checkout.

Re: mintyPi 2.0 News & Updates
With all of the issues I've seen others have due to shady PayPal practices holding funds, etc., as well as the few times they've mucked up things for me personally I don't want them linked to my bank account. I had an account in the past but I closed it years ago. The only time it's been an issue was on the rare eBay auction where the seller requires the buyer to have a PayPal account.
