Re: Screen Covers
I do not know if tis has been mentioned before? But if you have used one of the car screens for your project, it is quite easy to use a scissor to cut a simple protector from the one that comes with the screen.
It works, but may not be the most beautiful one

Re: Screen Covers
Did you get your deadpan shipment yet? Where about do you reside? (Generally of course
) I am in the south eastern United States. Placed order 2 weeks ago and it has not arrived yet. Just curious if you are in the US and how long it took! I'm itchin to build! Also curious as to what your 3mm black border looks like when complete. Ordered the same one, then jacked up my shell just a bit going alllllmost too far def less than a mm to the edge when cutting the space for the LCD. Hoping it's covered by the 3mm with no problems. Def have back up shells just in case but hope to save this one as I planned the build around it

Have 0 left so need a few to get building again. Hoping that 3mm looks good! So long as you have something to stick it to, even just 1mm. The 3mm should nicely cover it!

not quite complete...

but the 3mm is roughly the size of the boarder that was with the retrofresh covers...
i'm personally happy with it, especially for the price (even though its kinda dictated the colour sceme for my next build)
