its not that difficult for it to be modified to fit (it has been posted already)

Yes..I read through the post...from what I can see the screen is a little bit smaller than the board (if the one you got is this one https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3-5-LCD ... sstype=600).

For me, the screen is the same size as the driver board. Note that I have not disassembled og remove anything yet, just wanted to see if the screen fits so I just try to mount it with the driver board attached.
I dealt with the same thing. With this screen I had to file and sand 1mm off the sides of the shell where the screen fits with a dremel.

I hope it's alright for me to ask in here, but do you have any tips on prying the KeDei LCD from the PCB? I tried it with mine and ended up breaking the LCD panel itself.

Also, do you know of any LCDs that would work with the KeDei PCB or am I better off getting a new one?

Again apologies if I shouldn't have asked here.

I removed mine by taking an exacto knife and cutting the foam. Just be very careful not to nick the ribbon cable. What I did is cut it up to a few CM from the ribbon cable and pried it from the rest to avoid cutting the ribbon cable. Just disconnect the ribbon before you start pulling at the PCB.

I also removed the front glass touch screen by sticking the exacto knife in between and going around the parameter. I would suggest waiting up until you're fully ready to install the screen(such as having a front screen cover ready to place on the front and everything modified to fit) prior to removing the touch screen because in my opinion, it provides protection from scratches, debris, and provides a little stability while you're working with the screen. Leave the touch screen glass for last.

I also used a round cutting bit and router attachment on a dremel to rout out the inside of the front of GB shell and made a track where the screen sits. This was so the screen fits deeper into the shell, makes it closer to the front so there is more space inside to work with.
As far as a replacement LCD, I have no idea.

Seems I am one of the unlucky people, already sanded the black case I have and still need to be sanded more. Was intended to use the transparent case here -

maybe it's your shell that is slightly smaller...
I have 2 cases from different suppliers, and the measurements are a bit different

Actually I have 4 cases all from 4 different suppliers and the screen will not fit any of them. The driver board is the same size as the screen.

I just have to mod the black case the other 3 are transparent and would not look good if sanded.

My KeDei screen (from eBay) is the exact same as vnman's. I wonder if they use screens from different manufacturers sometimes?
