You *could* use them as cells - but not the board as a powerboost.
A power boost really does two things - firstly it acts as a load-sharing battery charger - secondly it has a DC/DC boost converter to raise the output voltage from 3v7 to 5v2.
That board will not have any kind of load sharing on it so there is no way to charge it whilst also using it - also the maximum amps it will deliver are going to be too low to be able to power all the things you need (screen, pi, amp, etc) - indeed I would suspect it will deliver circa 500ma - about half (1amp) what the PB does.
Finally - and I can't stress this enough - don't play with batteries if you don't know exactly what you are doing - especially where you are ultimately connecting to mains. It really is the way to injure yourself, cause a fire, etc - please be careful!
