Using a differnt Pi model

Post by RickBallin238 » Thu Dec 07, 2017 2:27 pm

I was interested in the Minty Pi for a while now. Although it is impressive, it seems like it will be slow. Would the custom pcb for the minty pi work with a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B?

No.

More specifically, you might be able to fit the Pi3 to the PCB (though you'd have to strip one of the USB sockets, and may have a capacitor in the way), but it absolutely would not fit inside an Altoids tin if you do.

Thank you, I know it wouldn't fit in the altoids tin, but I was just intersed in making a modded mintypi with more power
