I guess you'll be using a vga 4: 3 monitor as your screen. in this case the ideal is to take the sound at the adapter hdmi / vga (with an amp of course)

something like this https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B01L1Q27KC/ref ... & hvqmt = that's what I used for the sound on my bartop
A VGA 4:3 monitor LCD I'll use.
The link you posted it shows the adaptor but, the amplifier would be between the jack output (adaptor) and the speakers?

Does the amplifier need to have the same or more power that the speakers? I mean if the speakers has a RMS power of 40 watts, Does the amplifier need 40 watts minimum?

I did the test with B & O speakers 75 Watts (45 Watts RMS) and it works very well.

^^^ yep i've used one of those for a (potential) bartop build. they also have them at the Pi hut (pi hut also has the Male HDMI version which is much more useful for Pi builds unless you want a HDMI cable AND a VGA cable coming off your Pi but to use one, you need to be ultra specific in the config.txt as they will not autodetect and the output will default to composite out only!
use this page as a guide: https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentati ... t/video.md

;) and which size your screen is? it's hard to find a monitor beyond the 20" in an aspect ratio of 4:3

I use a dell 17" but I just get one of 19". Idon't know if I will change or if I'm going to build a "real" arcade cabinet and put it in :D

or so, I found a 1970s wall phone booth and I may turn it into Walltop!

the idea would be to do that

Nice colours that ones. One question, is it important the wide of the MDF? I've heard for the sides at least 10mm is needed.
