Here's a link to my post with some more info https://sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=61033#p61033

Things a kit would include:
- the PCB
- all the buttons
- the screen
- the power switch
- the TP4056 charger
- the resistor
- maybe the bolts
- a build guide
- design files for the case

So you'd have everything shown here (not assembled):

Things the kit wouldn't include:
- Raspberry Pi Zero. I can't buy them in bulk.
- The battery. I can't post loose batteries in/from the UK.
- The laser cut case. It would be cheaper for you guys to use a local maker space or service, that way you could make it in any colour you wanted (the front piece needs to be clear) or add some extra stuff to it.
- micro SD card.

Kits would be £35/$47 (plus shipping)

I was wondering how many people would be interested?

Interesting for sure. I just don't know where I could get someone local to make the laser cut case.

By local I meant your country :P
I used http://www.razorlab.co.uk/ which is based in London, but they ship worldwide so I guess it's an option for anywhere?
It cost me ~£35 for everything I needed and a few spare buttons.

I would be interested but have the same concerns about the case. I live in the US and even then it's not a service that is very commonly known. I will have to do some research.

Good news for the USA makers!

Turns out the place I used is a branch of this place http://www.ponoko.com and they have a studio in California.
Since you guys don't use the metric system, the 3mm P1 sheet would be the 0.118 P1 sheet and the closest to the 5mm P1 would be the 0.220 P1 (P1 is the notation they use for the size of the sheet).

I managed to get some quotes:

At the moment they have an offer where you can get your first order for free (up to $20) if you order within 10 days of registering!

The 5mm parts are $19.67 plus shipping.
The 3mm parts are $8.37 plus shipping.

So depending on the shipping rates, you should be able to get at least one of them for free!

Here are some links to the (free) design files:
https://www.ponoko.com/design-your-own/ ... m-p1-14852
https://www.ponoko.com/design-your-own/ ... m-p1-14854

I obviously can't guarantee the quality of their laser cutting, but if anything doesn't fit, it can always be sanded down.
You would also need some acrylic solvent to stick the bits together (super glue leaves a white residue on acrylic) but it's easy enough to find on Amazon or a DIY place.

I hope this helps!

That’s awesome. Thanks for looking into that.

So the the 3mm is the thickness of the top half and 5mm is a he bottom, is that correct?
