Some of the 12V screens can actually run off 5V natively. :)

Thank you for contributing guys!

I will only add functioning TFTs to the list, though.
If anyone has got another one working, which is not already in the list, feel free to help us out.

Confirmed supplier from Amazon UK with the correct board and Prime Delivery *YAY*

Be careful about removing the screen from the front panel, I've cracked the corner of mine! (fortunately it's invisible )

Forgive me if this is a beginner question but how are you testing it to ensure that it works off of 5V? Where do you connect the wires? I have a 5V power supply and want to add mine to the list but I am not sure how to make meaningful commentary on it. Thank you in advance for clarification! For reference I have the same board as DeltaShadow at the beginning of the thread.

Plug the 5V power supply into the power jack of the screen. If it works, bingo!
If it doesn't, open it up and do this: https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/view ... 1eebd9f91b
If it works, huzzah!
If it doesn't, then the screen cannot be run off 5V without a boost converter. :)

it may be a bit more pricey than the others but no pulling it apart and I knew the approx size of the control board

1. no it doesn't run directly off 5VDC
2. Yes it has an IC (bottom left corner BM1410A)
3. Yes with the IC mod it works off 5VDC
4. no contrast buttons?

I didn't remove the step down converter just soldered on a jumper wire, looks like its working fine.
