My First GBCM3 *Its FINISHED* Spoilers in first post

Post by phreaky » Tue Nov 13, 2018 6:40 am

Hi all

After i was caught in a youtube clicking spree hopping from PSX mods to Sega Saturn cracked after 20 years videos i stumbeld uppon Wermy's Game Boy Zero Custom build vid. And it reminded me of my old Game Boy and how much fun i had with it. So i tought i could give my old Game Boy a second life with this modification. So i called my mom only to find out she threw it away years ago… :(

Since then I've been quietly lurking around this community, finding out what i need and were to get it from, it was finally time to build my own. And then i saw Kite's pre-order Post.

So i pre-ordered Kite's Circuit Sword and are now waiting for it to arrive. In the meanwhile i will ordering all the other parts that i will need for the build. And will start then with painting the shell.
FINISHED IT FINALLY

I made the theme in the style of my favorite comic :).

Your service sticker came out well. You’ll love building it! It was a blast. I want to do another.

personally....
i would never accept that quality from 3dHub....
(they could have been cleaned up a bit more)

i havent used the service since they changed the platform (not being able to choose who prints the parts)

but, when i did use it (only recently)

even at 200 μm
you should have been sent better looking parts.....
(not all of the parts you received look that bad, but some are just a bit below par.... considering its a service their providing)

you can either contact them (you may be able to get a refund/discount voucher)
(just say the quality is not up to par, especially for what you paid)
or
just clean them up yourself...

i'm buying my own printer now....
it may seem like a bit extreme at the cost (and i definitely don't have the space)
the cost really isnt that much considering how much peoples builds cost (you can get OKish printer for about the same cost)
(i just have to find the space now)

i'd contact them and see what they can do....
