Just a question. What are the 2 small 4pin ribbons for coming from the screen? I'm assuming one is for the touchscreen.

Yea that was the plan.

Also check if it will run on 5V (if that's what you need it for)
as I think it might need a 12V power supply (but does say it can be run on different voltages)

another thing i would highly recommend you doing before purchasing that board....

is to check what resolution it puts out (as its for a 7" screen)....
there isn't any mention of this in the listing (message the seller)

it should be OK as it states it supports the AT065TN14 (the screen type used in the Wii U build)
but you don't want to get it and then find out it wasn't exactly what you were expecting....

You really need to start your own topic (General Project Chat)....
the stuff you asking about, isnt related to this type of build (Wii U Game pad)

No I know. I just saw this cuz its what I was originally going to do. But changed my mind. And figured that someone would know about the controller would work on the stock screen. As for the 4 pin connectors. I just looked again I guess one is the digitizer the other is the backlight?

my bad.....

i missed the fact that you asked about the stock screen  (i've just gone back and re-read your first post)....
(if i'm right in assuming, the screen that comes in the stock Wii U game pad from the factory)

I doubt that it will.....
if you could have used the stock LCD with any board other than the Wii U mother board then someone would have.....

these boards are for a specif type of screen (the types are stated in the listings)
the "stock screen" isnt one of those types

also these boards don't come with touch function built in (especially the one you've linked)
you would need a separate touch controls board that is compatible with the digitizer....

So I got a question about the teensy, but first some back story. If I go through everything, install the software and plugins. Copy pasta the code and send the sketch. It uploads but then the teensy just dies. No leds, windows dosnt see it. I cant get anything from it. Only way to see the teensy at all now is by using a whole different computer, install the adruino software and plug the teensy into the usb again.

So since this isnt working, plan b is now to use a known working usb controller and strip it down to the board only. Ill solder wires to the contacts from the usb controller to the keys on the wii u game pad. The only issue I see with this, might be the joysticks. They might have to stay attached to the board depending on the resistance while attached. Ill have to put my voltmeter on it to find out later. If not then kool ill squash that board in there and im good to go.

Question Time! Either what am I doing wrong with the teensy....orrrr will plan b work with rigging the usb controller up to it? This is the last bit of issues thats keeping me from finishing this. Thanks
