Still looking... I also have a post requesting information from anyone who has used serial (SPI) displays with the pi before and not a single answer yet. :(

If you can solder, the screen is based on a common chip, that has been used on the raspberry in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wxJpWRPKe-g so you
