PrintyPi

Post by StaticNebula26 » Sun Mar 10, 2019 10:05 pm

Not sure if I should even call this idea a mintpi anymore. So essentially it would be a MintyPi but with a bigger 3Dprinted enclosure so I could fit a bigger screen, a camera, a pi 3 a+, a joystick and a dpad, and more. (Now that I think about it this is just a 3DS XL without the bottom screen but screw it it’s a MintyPi+)

Edit because of the naming confusion let’s call this a PrintyPi

I saw a special 5oz (147ml) Christmas altoids tin on amazon but I don’t think it’s hinged and it’s out of stock.

There’s also a 10 oz altoids tin for around $300 usd on antique sites, so for obvious reasons I won’t get one those either.

Unless I can find a cheap plain tin that’s bigger than the standard altoids, the best choice would be a 3d printed enclosure.
