Protective screen necessary?
Silly question, but is it necessary to use a protective screen (whether it be plastic or glass) ?

Re: Protective screen necessary?
From my point of view necessary since it looks much better to have the screen flat to the case surface. Without it looks not nice and on top as usual the screen is protected against scratches.

"necessary" is pretty subjective, but most of those screens are not very rugged. you're much more likely to break it without one, and it does look better than without

Re: Protective screen necessary?
I never put one on mine and never regretted it. They do look A LOT nicer with them though. I take care of mine and have never damaged the screen.

Re: Protective screen necessary?
I've got small kiddos in the house so for me I'd say yes, they can be had for as little as $5 so I don't worry so much about having a couple spares on hand should one get badly scratched or even cracked.
