Final picture showing back buttons.

This was perhaps the easiest build to put together. Everything just screws together and the only place I put hot-glue was to hold the speaker in place. It looks like there's going to be something to hold the speaker in place, but I didn't receive that with my purchase. I had to use an older of Kite's CM3 board from early 2018 since my two November 2018 boards don't work and refuse to boot.

I usually don't name my builds, but this particular one has a whovian theme, "Cyber Boy."

Looks great!

Which button caps did you end up using on the back? I ordered one of the cases a few weeks ago, since I still had an unassembled CSO (also from 2018) and I think I've got everything for it except those. Thanks!

I used some leftover MintyPi buttons. I took a 1500 grit sandpaper to the back side of it to remove the lettering and smooth it a bit.

I went ahead and ordered one as well, Will probably transfer my CS to it and replace the plastic guts with a rpi 3A+ which I have almost got working!

Looks good. Did you use a 3d print to hold the battery in place? It's mentioned on the site, wondering if you used Helder's megabat and how that is placed in the shell.

Also, if you have a 3d printer, there are a few "glueless speaker holder's" floating around that fix the speaker in place without glue (obviously).

I used a generic battery and velcro and affixed it to the battery door. I'll have to check on the 3d printed battery holder.

Just thought I'd mention I was a bit of a dumb dumb and somehow didn't pay attention to the shell only being compatible with the "older" circuit sword (CM3 not the new CM3+) and so the one I received from the last batch technically doesn't fit but I'm going to grind down the heatsink block and make it fit as it's such a beautiful shell.

It should be relatively easy to mill it down. Make sure you use kapton tape everywhere.
