I would check to make sure your ribbon cable is in straight. I would also check the soldering. The soldering is almost always the problem. I´m not the biggest wizard at this stuff, so it may be something else.

He messaged me on Instagram and forgot to get back to him, looks like a bad ribbon or using the wrong image.
