Hi sudomod
Im struggling to locate information on the solder pads on the back of the pi 3. Does anyone have a link?
I need to know the usual 5v, g, d+, d- etc. Also theres some pads located opposite side of the usb ports and i was wondering if they are an alternative for usb connections?
Thanks

Re: Rpi3 Solder Pads
Personally, I use a multimeter to trace the pads where they lead to. Then use references to confirm my findings.
I recall tracing the USB port connections going to the chipset (chip marked with "SMSC"). I had to trace them first before cutting my Pi to ensure I don't cut the traces and still be able to use the USB solder pads. The underside of the board leads to this chipset as this side is where the USB ports are soldered to. Judging from a picture of the Pi3 I taken it appears that the following pads are USB D-/D+ pairs:
USB ports beside the Ethernet jack:
PP36 and PP41
PP42 and PP43
USB ports near the edge of the board:
PP44 and PP45
PP46 and PP47
But don't take my word for it -- trace, trace and trace. Did I say trace?
