Screen help

OK so I went to mount the bracket today and when I got done I noticed the ribbon cable had a split in it. Is there anyway I can fix this??? https://imgur.com/a/D1p5O

You can try bridging the connections with some copper tape, but torn screen ribbons are rarely easy/possible to fix.

This guy did the same thing but shows how to use a scanner lens attached to a phone to magnify the ribbon cable wires as he solders it:

Yeah I did get lucky didn't I. I'm going to try what chiz suggested. I'll let you all know how it turned out.

Actually the copper tape worked! I used a knife to scrape away to the copper layer. Put a piece of copper tape on it and it worked again! I have the front half of the thing complete. Now for the audio and charging system.
