The answer is just a few posts above from Jman11.
Solder wires onto those pads.

I'm using this one not bad etheir for the price. I think you'll need a resister if you thinking of adding the LEDS to the board but I'm thinking of adding a low voltage circuit to let me know when the battery is low when I get time to do it lol

I have this power supply connected to all my components in my build, I can post a picture of how i setup the switch and everything when I get home. Its not the prettiest but its what you get when you get a cheap power supply.

I bought this too... it was so freaking cheap like $2.90 USD, but I'm sure it's lower quality and has fewer features than the PowerBoost 1000C.
Also, I thought mine was broken because it wasn't providing power to my pi zero when I didn't have the battery connected. But once I wired up the battery with it all, it works (charges the battery while providing power to the pi zero). Does anyone know why this is? It seems kind of weird that it requires a battery to be there.

I used a tp4056 lipo charge board with a DC DC 3.7v to 5v power boost step up converter board to handle power to all components in my gameboy zero.

Overall investment $2.35 (1.98+0.35)

I wonder.. For the lack of a low battery LED on this alternate power supply, would it be possible to use this?

Desolder the buzzer, and wire it into the switch and battery (so it's only supplying power to the detector when the switch is on)? Not sure how wiring it into the switch would work, though...

That is for 2 Cells, 7.2v and up.
If you want to monitor your battery, which would be the reasonable thing to do, you would need a 1C or 1S module.

I have also ordered the alternative powerboost.

I am gling to solder eores on the pads woth the right connector to plug the lipo in. That way the lipo will be easy to remove.
On the pads ill also add wores that go to this:
3.7V Li-Ion Battery Level Indicator
http://s.aliexpress.com/mQnMnyi6

Ill add a switch inbetween the positive leas, so if i push the button, the leds light up.

The pcb is really small
