Help me please (newbie)

Post by irawans » Mon Mar 26, 2018 12:11 am

I've got Kite Circuit Sword board, and I have put everything together followed from the wiki. I also has transfered some ROMs into it, and I can play it. The problem are:

1. When boot at very first, the analog joystick does not work. Is there any particular setting to make it work ?

2. I can't manage to make wifi work, when searching for wifi it found my ssid, but after I entered the password wifi just can't be connected (Error message: "Unable to connect to network"). I have enter correct password. Also I have followed this link: https://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic ... 130#p44130 and this: https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Wifi/

3. Mode button does not work with any combination buttons. Should I set it somewhere first ? or Is it supposed to work from first booting ?

4. Please let me know where should I go after everything are installed. I have spent 2 last days, without knowing what to do.

Many Thanks.

Hi,

1. https://github.com/kiteretro/Circuit-Sw ... e-joystick

2. Try these steps first https://github.com/kiteretro/Circuit-Sw ... oesnt-work and if that doesn't help, move closer to your AP or try a different one. You may want to press F4 to drop to the console and type your password in there to check the key mapping, incase you are using special characters!

3. No setting required. When the button is pressed, even the one on the PCB, does the Arduino STS (yellow) LED flash brightly? This is the LED sort of in the middle of the board.. if working it flashes in an obvious way

4. Don't think this is a question, you are running a pi so you can do anything that a Pi would do

EDIT: Despite being an admin, I don't know how to move posts to different topics  you should use the Kite support sub section for these Qs :)

@kite, thank you for the help. I can manage to make the Joystick to work, now.. just need to edit the Arduino code because the Y axis is inverted.

I still can't make the wifi work, tomorrow will open the case and put more Kapton Tape. So, even it recognises my wifi ssid, still is it possible the issue caused by back board is contacting the wifi chip and shorting something ? or could be something else ?

the Mode button still does not work. I need to check the connection tomorrow, since I replace the original with the longer one as it was too short.

Where can find the Kite Support Sub Section ? I tried to find and search it. But, I could not get it. This forum is so big. I am lost.
@kite, I also send you email regarding my order.. thanks a lot .

Best Regards
