Hi
I am about to embark upon the journey and am just trying to gather all the bits I need, and I'm stuck for a screen.
Any suggestions ?
Has anyone got a link to a back up camera screen they used and know fits and only requires minor modifications?
Thanks
Edit: just realised Nextion the screen I originally suggested uses serial input not composite :-/

Re: Nextion 3.5" TFT LCD Screen, any good?
Looks fine, but I haven't used it myself or seen anyone using a similar one yet. My only concern that I'll mention though is that the driver board is large. You might run into space issues.George R. Martin wrote:Hi

it's already 5v so shouldn't require any modifications plus it uses composite video so don't have all the gpio flicking to worry about.
Just wondering if anyone has used one before?
It also seems to have a capacitive layer, don't particularly want a touch screen but cans do any harm right?
Re: Screen Hunting
I'm going to do my first build and I found this screen: http://www.dx.com/p/et-350-3-5-tft-lcd- ... 87MZZN96H4
The specs say 960 x 468 pixels but I think that must be a error because it seems a bit high. Anyway the reviews are good and the price as well so let's see if PCB is also good.
