[IN-STOCK] The Adafruit 3.5in non-touch display (part# 913) is back in stock!

Just a heads-up that the go-to 3.5in non-touch display is back in stock at adafruit.com...

https://www.adafruit.com/products/913

As of the time of posting there are 49 available. Last night there were 53 when I first saw that they were back in stock.

It seems to me that the Gearbest screen is cheaper and easier to implement. Is there a reason to prefer Adafruit's?

Does the gearbest screen run off 5v?

Not out of the box, but unlike the Adafruit screen, it only requires 1 wire to make it run on 5v.

And no huge difference in image quality? Plus more than half the price and afaik zero availability problems? Yeah definitely a superior option.

No clue with image quality comparison but they both have the same resolution. That's mainly why I was asking if anyone prefers the Adafruit screen and if so, why.

Anyone familiar with the shipping time on the gearbest? From the looks of it Adafruit is out of stock again. That was quick
