Re: [Gauging Interest] Safe Shutdown PCB
@jonlimitless The prototype board has been thoroughly tested, as will the PCB version, so nothing to worry about there. I may add pins to the final layout for an optional reset button.
I had considered adding power output, but it would just be another connection to the PowerBoost and would make the board quite a bit bigger (and more expensive). @Helder has uploaded a power distribution board to OSHpark.
I don't plan on stopping here, so maybe a future board will be more of an all inclusive solution.

I saw your work on this and I think that it's really awesome, man! I'm definitely interested and would be willing to buy.
Re: [Gauging Interest] Safe Shutdown PCB
Simple and neat, especially because it doesn't require any software to work.
I am definitelty more interested about a version for the banggood adapter, because I can't make my own version of the shutdown button to work properly.
For anyone interested, this is the schematic (borrowed from NeonHorizon's https://github.com/NeonHorizon/lipopi/b ... er_down.md):

I have made a test pcb using 1206 SMD components (all except 1N4004 diodes, that are larger), which are human solderable (at least with my skill level).
The advantage is that it can be very small, but it costs 3 GPIO and it requires to a slide button with return spring as you have to keep the circuit closed for a second or two for the pi to shutdown.

@keilun The BangGood version will come soon after the PowerBoost version. You might be better posting that schematic in the Graceful Shutdown thread, as this is just to gauge interest for a batch of PCBs.

Interested for sure if I can physically fit it into the build.

Count me as watching for a pre order on this, I'll probably get two. Just in case.
Re: [Gauging Interest] Safe Shutdown PCB
Interested in the BangGood one . I could possibly maybe finish my gameboy zero before you make this, so can you tell me what wires I would need to hook up to it?
Edit: Changed what I was asking a bit
