We would definitely ship worldwide when the kits are ready. We already do some gaming related products at
http://www.flashmasta.com that we ship all over.

I could see having a limited quantity of "early adopter" kits in maybe 2 weeks. That's a bit of a shot in the dark, but just keep in touch. I'm not the best at keeping people informed, but I definitely don't mind if people are interested/excited about stuff I'm working on. :D

I am also interested in the custom board
I am looking to do a gameboy advance build also and the board would clean everything up nice

Are you planning on making them available soon or do more people need to show interest? Just curious

No, it's not an interest thing at this point. It's just time/effort thing at this point.

I'm going to build some full working units to sell on eBay (One is already on eBay). This will help me work through the process multiple times, bring in some money from sales, and help gauge interest. Then, I plan to sell a small batch of DIY kits (not sure if eBay or through the http://gamepieadvance.com/ site or both). These will likely be a working board and a LCD panel.

Do you guys think a DIY kit should come with a GBA shell? Should I have some available if people want them?

To do the DIY kit batch I will need to order a bunch of parts and do a bunch more soldering.

Could you make a board that is just the buttons? (or post the gerber files online)
I haven't been active for a while. I periodically check the forum and blog for interesting projects, but don't post very much.

I'm not sure what I will do about this yet, but the circuitboard could, in theory, be used without connecting it directly to the PiZero. You could just use the Pi header to connect to the button pads or whatever.

I say don't include shells, as there are loads of colours out there and that way people can choose which shell they want, unless you plan to stocks all colours of shells. I already have my shell

How does the LCD interact with the Pi Zero? Is it native SPI, or did you have to include an LCD controller on the board?
