Hi All,
I'm going to leave this here. I'm not sure if it's going to help anyone, but this is how I plan to wire everything together on mine. I found that on my switch (on-on from localstore), it didn't matter which pin went to EN and which went to GND, either way it would turn everything on or off. That's why I've labeled them with gray wires.

Edit: Uploaded to imgur if it's too blurry here.

Nice post!

I got a cross thread question for you, check my thread on adding a MOSFET switch to do graceful shutdowns.

http://sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php? ... 7&start=20

I plan on using EN and GND on the Powerboost to rig up an emergency reset button (since we need some way to do this). I dont have mine to test yet, but reading the Powerboost documentation, it seems that the default state is on, and when closing EN and GND overrides this, and shuts it off.

So, two questions. Can you confirm that closing EN and GND shuts off, and as soon as that is released, it turns ON? I need to know if the tactile switch here would work as a reset button for me. Second question is, do you see a problem with me setting it up this way? Instead by placing the output of the Powerboost to this MOSFET switch so that it can control the power,, and then repurposing EN and GND for my emergency reset circuit. Let me know your thoughts.

Ignore the above. I just got my Powerboost today and confirmed everything. I'm good to go

Please do a wiring schema for your setup. I'm doing a 2nd GBZ and will be very interested in adding your safe shutdown setup.

@Popcorn, my bad didn't get to read your post until now, otherwise I would have informed you yes you can use it, and no I don't see any problems with that :) . I've been keeping an eye out on your thread for the graceful shutdown, very interested to incorporate into my build at some point.

@crispy_tofu I'm not sure if you were referring to my picture of not, but either way here is an imgur link.

@3y3c0ugh
I've wired up pretty much according to your picture above, you need to change the wiring to the power switch. the wires need to be on the other 2 contacts.
When off, this basically needs the connection bridged in order for the powerboost to stay in OFF mode. when the connection is broken, it turns on.
Thats all :) awesome wiring otherwise, ive got it charging and booting up.
