So today I received a new order of laser cut screens and I'm not happy with the quality.
So I am ordering off someone else tomorrow morning and hopefully there is not going to be any extra delay in getting orders out.
I never though getting a piece of acrylic cut was going to be so much problem! I may have to get my own machine.

So I have been working on the play it loud color:

Ignore the line color( color profile setting) and thickness as this will be changing as I am constantly trying to make these better.
So the shade is the second from the bottom, I now have to make it more blue in color. It only took 10 prints to get this far...

the entire play it loud scheme is almost impossible to replicate. gb replacement shells usually have the wrong color of writing, the buttons are this weird "not black not grey" and the screen surround is in this dark grey. i kinda said goodbye to the idea of making a genuine-looking black PIL gameboy and am just going with an all black one..... but i sure as hell appreciate your efforts! maybe somewhere down the line i'll try and find a real PIL black and zero it up.

thanks, I have some fine tuning to do. I think maybe making the line color darker and maybe slightly thinner. The problem is any change takes about 2 hours just to see the result, so it is very time consuming.

So here is an update on what I have been through this last week:

It seems that I really upset the person that cut the screens by saying they were not good enough!
So I went and ordered off another company and when new laser cut screens arrived:

I'm not happy!
They promised to send new screens to me, but I could do without this delay. I have been printing the decals to try and get ahead of the backlog of orders I have now got.
I have also ordered screens off a third supplier...

So I apologize to anyone that is waiting for their order.

i am really exited about them. i am going to order one to france.
i am going with the gameboy zero and the sticker of nintendo 2 but i was wondering before buying them, the screens you are making in acrilic only? or glass too? wich one is better quality?
also how we choose them ?
