I used a snes controller L & R buttons as templates and then used a dremel to rough cut the shape, then a small sanding drum to shape.Evilz wrote:Nice !!![]()

Re: GBZ Work in progress
Can you post some pictures of the SNES controller buttons mocked up in the shell? I am curious as to how well they fit. was thinking of going this route.

Will come back to that design later as it was proving to be a bit of a pain.

Re: GBZ Work in progress
Was going to use these but they are really clicky so i took it apart and used the button in conjunction with the pcb from my snes controller and put it together like this from the back they work quite well and feel nice just the right size.Ninjameep wrote:When i 3D Print the Screen holder And Button Wells you have, ill post in it my build log/post and mention you there o3o thank you very much though for putting them out there~, i also cant wait to see you finish this, what kind of buttons are you using for the L&R , are they tactile switches?

Re: GBZ Work in progress FInished!!!!
Hy. I'm using the same power chip instead of the powerboost. But I have a small problem. The battery seems to drain overnight whenever it's not pluged in to a charger and turned of. The only difference I see that you did was that I put the on/off switch on the 5v wire instead of the gnd wire. I figured the other things I hae connected would draw power from the battery if connected to 5v all the time. And I figurring something wrong?
