How did you make the hole for the L and R buttons ?

Did you cut the cartridge ?

I used a snes controller L & R buttons as templates and then used a dremel to rough cut the shape, then a small sanding drum to shape.

Can you post some pictures of the SNES controller buttons mocked up in the shell? I am curious as to how well they fit. was thinking of going this route.

Gone with buttons on another gbzero but here are some pics of of that and the shoulder buttons i was working on.
Will come back to that design later as it was proving to be a bit of a pain.

so i took it apart and used the button in conjunction with the pcb from my snes controller and put it together like this

from the back they work quite well and feel nice just the right size.

and also, i am working in a 3d part for the inside part for the buttons L and R (the parts that we need to cut from a controller, l am going to try it today, so, let my try it and i will keep you up to date

Hy. I'm using the same power chip instead of the powerboost. But I have a small problem. The battery seems to drain overnight whenever it's not pluged in to a charger and turned of. The only difference I see that you did was that I put the on/off switch on the 5v wire instead of the gnd wire. I figured the other things I hae connected would draw power from the battery if connected to 5v all the time. And I figurring something wrong?
