New subforums, mentions, default avatars
Hey guys!
I added a few new boards: There is now a Guides subforum to the Software section, and I added a new Hardware section too (with its own Guides section as well). I moved a few guides I had noticed (as well as a few random topics) into the proper spots.
Some things, particularly the guides areas may get moved once I finally get the wiki set up. I would have set it up already but I changed my mind about going with a wordpress plugin. That didn't work out so well last time with the forums...
You might also notice some new options when creating a post: you can now mention other users! They'll get a board notification and, depending on their preferences, an email as well.
Users without an avatar also now have a default avatar.
Thanks for all the suggestions so far, guys! Keep 'em coming!

The features keep on improving! Thanks, Wermy!
Question on mentioning other users... Do we still need to prefix each forum member name with an at sign (@)? Or need to explicitly quote their replies?

@chiz from the extension settings, it looks like we should be able to use @. I guess this reply will test it out.
Re: New subforums, mentions, default avatars
I can see the @ sign not being replaced and seem to be out of place. Let me test mentioning you without the sign.

hmmm so that didn't substitute it... Testing again using @ sign.

Huh. Yeah that's a little odd. I guess the @ is necessary. I'll see if I can turn off the avatar though, it kind of throws everything off.

@wermy
Yeah, I think it's better not to show the avatars in the post with quotes. Kinda destroys the layout.
