[WANTED] Game Boy Zero. Complete and installed, shipped to Spain

Post by miguelangelss4 » Mon Nov 14, 2016 8:57 am

Hello,
I wanted to make my own GBZ but there are some components that I don't find, and I have no knowledge of electronics.

I have only the original game boy case, but I guess it would be cheapest that the buyer build other tan I send it from Spain.

I have no idea how many this job can cost, y have a list with all components and they are around $180. I think a good price can be $250, but I don't know how many hours of job are really.

I want the GBZ complete and with all installed, ready for receive a gameboy rom and play.

If here is someone that do this, please send me a PM with the price you consider and we will talk.

Thanks all, regards!

*Sorry for my English

Hi

look on ebay. There is one for 400$ (350€).

I'm not sure if you can find for cheaper.

Hi

I know it is not the answer you prefer, but think about the Kite's all in One whenever it is available. Maybe you can achieve an easy build using this board. (maybe as a secondary plan)

Best regards

It's really hard to put a price on a project that someone worked really hard on, yes the items required to build one can go up to 150-180 but you have to understand that there's a lot of things that can go wrong like breaking your 50 dollars soldering iron or getting the wrong speakers or even messing up on the AIO helder's board like breaking the contact pads, this is coming directly from personal experience, so on and so on plus you also gotta put in consideration the hours someone worked on the project. I hope you find one maybe in the future GBZ will be a thing that will be mass produced who knows and prices might go down. Cheers!

Remember that this is a home build project so it (the Gameboy Zero) comes with no guarantee or warranty. Basically you get what you see if you break it after you got it you are on your own.

PS. I am thinking of selling one of my builds :-) ;)
