Following! If it was cheap (or easy) everyone would do it right???

Build is done and everything is finally working flawlessly... Definitely learned a lot. Took a good week to get to this point. Feel like I'm a pro at SMT and TH soldering, desoldering, hot gluing, and de hot gluing now.

A couple gotchas that I want to share...

1. Retropie 3.8.1 is the most stable image in my experience.
2. Don't be lazy about twisting your USB wires.
3. Use Helder's command line files or the USB hub and sound won't work.
4. DON'T install the Pixel Desktop Environment, it took me hours to figure out how to make ES boot instead of Pixel... sigh
5. SSH and WinSCP are key to making your Pi work flawlessly.

Oh really? I did mine in about 120 ish for parts (Keep in mind I broke some stuff and bought things I didn't need), 150 total with other expenses.
