I had the same problem. I am using a self-made low-pass-filter and a originial DMG pot-meter just like in Wermy's first version. I never found a schematic for this though. But I did manage to get it working through frame-skipping Wermy's video's

I only heard a little hiss when I tested it first, with the pot-meter fully open. Then I managed to use Aslamixer and set this to 100% Still nothing. After that I turned the volume up in Retroarch (12db). Yes! Sound! But very far away.... not nearly loud enough. Lastly I checked the sound volume in ES and turned it from 70 to 100. Now I have proper sound although still not very loud. The quality is pretty bad aswell... I hear alot of noise when playing a game.
