It looks really good, I'm really keen to see how you do the back though, that looks like it will be a nightmare!!

Is that blu-tack you are using instead of glue? Or is it just an easy temporary method of fixing the components?

I use blue tack help map out the internals if it fits I'll glue it in if it don't I can make a small adjustment test fit the case then glue in place.
Also for beginners its good to help you solder. You can use it to hold your wire down in place if you leave your soldering iron on to long reduces the the risk of the wire melting or if your soldering in a tight space lay the blue tack over the component you don't want to melt lol

Cool tip. I have to try it out. Seems easier than gluing and removing all the glue again, once i find out i need to rearrange somethingPsy128 wrote:alexln wrote:Is that blu-tack you are using instead of glue? Or is it just an easy temporary method of fixing the components?

Re: Psy128 2nd gbz
The back supper hard I might do it again if I got more vynal left over lol and I did mess one corner up where the switch will be. Might be best to fill all gaps before laying out the vynal I think. But I'm pleased that the side veiw matches together good. I still need to tinker around and install buttons and get some air bubbles out

It could be sweet to get one hydro dipped in the carbon fiber... Looks nice

I had abit of a problem with my audio which stumped me for agers and even though I made one of these before I was puzzled lol its so easy to miss somthink small out when you're rushing ahead of your self.
The best thing with this site you can search for your problem and slove it easy because people give good information and up load everything with diagrams and all sorts.
Now Ive got good sound lol
even better then my first gbz.

What's going on with your cartridge? Why does it have a usb going into it and what is the board inside of it doing? Looks interesting.
