A tip for mounting the pi+hdmi

So if you have your pi zero placed to access the mini hdmi port through the contrast slot, you may have noticed (and i have seen some pictures of others) that it is slightly harder to close the side and you may end up with a slight bulge.

My solution was to grind down the ends of the two micro usb ports since they aren't used and now my project closes perfectly.

Also, If you have access to a 3d printer, you can make a screw hole glue it in place of 2 opposite corners of the pi and screw it down to make it more sturdy so you dont push the pi into the case when plugging a cable in.

I have yet to assemble mine, but I'm going to assume that removing the 2 micro usb ports completely would be another solution?

yeah but they are a pain in the ass to remove

I just got to this point in my build as well, I was thinking about de soldering them but i just might go the same route you did.
