All in One PCB Support Thread
Re: All in One PCB Support Thread
Hi everyone,
I just noticed that my potentiometer wheel only has 3 pins instead of 5. (https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/5Pcs-16M ... rue#extend)
Can you help me on figuring out how to solder this wheel to the AIO board ?
Is it even compatible ?
Thank you !

Power Issues
Hey guys,
If i add a USB port to the All In Board it only works randomly which means: Sometimes it doesnt even recognize the all-in-one-board anymore, sometimes this works, but the USB input doesnt work, sometime when something is hooked up to this USB port the screen stays dark. When i unplug the USB it boots as usual and goes back to normal right away. The stuff I hooked up to the USB worked when I did not have the all-in-one board and hooked everything up to the pi0 itself using a usb hub. If i hook up my usb hub to the pi0 again it seems like working normal (I dont have my usb gamepad over right now to test that one as well but atleast the hub is powered as I can tell from the lights).
Has anyone got any idea whats going?
Best regards, Toni
*ADDED* For wiring I got a 3m extension USB cable and i pretty much take all wires off of it because I figured if the wires are good to go for USB they should be good for using pi0 and All in One as well.
*ADDED2* I use the adafruit power boost which powers the all in one, power strip goes to pi0, the screen is directly powered from adafruit power boost. Everything worked until i started adding this one usb port.

Do people even read this thread? All I see are questions that have been answered many times in this thread including this one in the page before this one.biokenx wrote:I want to disable usb hub from aio 2.0 and wire directly to atmega. I can do it? where I have to be wire?
Likely some kind of short somewhere and have you used the usb fix on the first post? Have you tried another usb port instead of the one giving you problems?fernandinho1337 wrote:Hey guys,

Don't contact me about obtaining my board files (as you will not get them). If my Boards or PCB Kits are sold out, they will be restocked as soon as I can get them and there is demand for them. You can join the mailing list on my Website to be notified when they are available.

In previous post we talk about wire directly to atmega only one, but it is version 1.4. I want to understand if it goes well or not good for 2.0! I want to completely cancel the USB hub integrated in the aio. I've read all the posts, sorry if I have not found you can point it out?helder wrote:Do people even read this thread? Re: All in One PCB Support Thread

R6 and R7 are where you wire it to just like in the 1.4 version which has the parts labeled differently but are exactly the same.

Sound issues
Hi guys,
I am having Issues again

Problem:
-----------
My sound wont work.
I dont get any sound from the speaker.
Basic wiring and software:
------------------------------
- I have everything wired like on the first post. (everything else seems to be working)
- I downloaded the configs from the first post and used those to replace the original ones (using latest retropie).
Hardware used:
--------------------
I have bought a REPAIRED board here: http://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic. ... lit=helder
(!!) I cannot see any "fixes" on the board so I am wondering if something is broken (I dont notice any damages though).
Things I tried:
----------------
I figured if my speaker is broken my in-ears should work when I am plug them in I only get (interference) noise but nothing close to actual sound from the games.
Things I have NOT tried:
----------------------------
I did not do the basic speaker test because I figured my in ears should do it and I dont know what is meant by "switch pad" (FAQ 2b from first post)
I didnt do FAQ 2c from the first post (Headphone Jack) because its been already pre-assembled to the all in one board I bought.
I dont use HDMI output so I didnt do whats 2d in FAQ.
Question:
-----------
What am I doing wrong? Any ideas before start posting pictures?
best Regards,
Toni

Re: All in One PCB Support Thread
How many times do we ask for pictures to see what is going on and no one does that. Skip the volume wheel and jump the pads with a wire as I have already posted many times and is a few pages back.
If you are having the output of the video into an HDMI TV/Monitor then you will not get audio, if the config file is correct then you should have audio if the Volume Wheel is wired correctly and there is power going to the board.
Posting pictures is helpful as I have no idea how it's wired and if that is wrong you get no audio.

Re: All in One PCB Support Thread
Helder you are very right and I am very sorry.
I had the SD card hooked up to my other Pi and it rewrote the configs. I checked that again and now I got sound.
I am quite a pain in the ass - I am very sorry.
best regards, toni
