Yeah, stunningly small. Probably just an IC and a crystal, I like it!

Makes that OTG one that has been floating around look gigantic.crispy_tofu wrote:Yeah, stunningly small. Probably just an IC and a crystal, I like it!

This one is great too, forgot who of the users is using this in their project but the board is small and no need to desolder any ports, you can just cut off the wires and solder them to your peripherals:

Re: USB Hub for the Gameboy Zero
I have a hub looking like this one and it is terrible. Although advertised as USB 2.0, it only makes 1.1 speeds and the quality is horrible. Two solder points already broke with only minimal stress on the cables.Robvp wrote:This one is great too, forgot who of the users is using this in their project but the board is small and no need to desolder any ports, you can just cut off the wires and solder them to your peripherals:

Re: USB Hub for the Gameboy Zero
Those googly eyes though...
I've had relatively good success with this USB hub: http://www.amazon.com/kenable-Port-Powe ... B00LK5I8N0
It's extremely cheap and has a small form factor, although it's obviously not as versatile as the ones mentioned here.
I'll be doing a build log with this hub some time in the future, still waiting for my screen to arrive...
