Picture speak for themselves. That's not how the Retropi load up screen should look like.
Any ideas what's going on?

Thanks for the help over the past couple days.jellybelly wrote:i had the same but it turn out to be a tiny bit of loose solder/wire trim had bridge the tabs on the ribbon cable connector

Seems like every time I'm closer to finishing, another problem comes up. My Power Boost is refusing to turn on and this screen is wonky.

Should I rip off the hot glue and resolder the wires? I don't see anything wrong with my ribbon cablejellybelly wrote:i had the same but it turn out to be a tiny bit of loose solder/wire trim had bridge the tabs on the ribbon cable connector

Re: Inverted Colored Screen or Broken Screen??
I finally solved it. Indeed, it was the ribbon. I discover that if is not completely tensed up when you boot it up the pi the colors starts being inverted and is not possible to put them right when is already on.
So in order to solve it i put some glue tensing the ribbon up always so i can start the system properly

Was wondering if you could help me? I have the same screen and looked like I wired everything the same as you did. When I turn it in I only get a white screen. I am lost. Could you please help? Thank you

Re: Inverted Colored Screen or Broken Screen??
I was having the same issue with this screen, but fixed it by bending the ribbon cable backwards. Try holding the ribbon cable against the metal casing where it meets the screen. Also, the ribbon cable must be held before the Raspberry Pi gets power, or else the colours will be inverted. Here are some pictures of how I taped it so you get the idea.
