@Tomarse It should shutdown and power off when you slide the power switch to OFF.

OK, clearly I have got something wrong somewhere!

Mine just hard powers off when I move the switch to off. I'm getting a kernel panic when i shutdown from the emulationstation GUI.

Any idea what I've got wrong? I've done the steps in https://github.com/Camble/GBZ-Power-Monitor_BG including the line in config.txt. I assume this means that I have one of the GPIO wires not connected or swapped?

Perhaps. Can you post a clear picture of your wiring?

How much was this board? Came to the party late, but I want to be ready for the next batch.

It was about 15GBP, cost me about 25CAD.

One other question, how have people been mounting these? I've got mine in place over the screw post, with a bit of glue, then it gets clamped when I screw the case closed. The only problem is the case won't fully close now in that corner. I'm using the 3D printed screw posts too, has anyone shaved those down with this board to get a tighter fit?

@rodocop I did wonder if the thickness would be an issue. These boards actually ended up being 1.6mm (0.6mm thicker than they should be).

There are no traces near the screw hole should you choose to trim the board down. If you decide to sand the board to be a little thinner, I would choose the back of the board (without components) just to avoid the trace which runs from the switch's middle pin.

@Camble or anyone else who may have seen this issue before.

Hey there, sorry for filling this thread with issues. But I just noticed one more issue. After you updated the script the last time I no longer got the forced shut down on boot, which is great. But last night I was playing the gameboy, and it essentially froze (or so I thought). So of course I just switched the power switch off. Nothing happened, the game stayed open etc. At this point I noticed that the game didn't totally freeze, it was just going in like super super slow motion. I turned the switch back to the on position, and about a minute later I saw that the low battery prompt was slowing showing up on screen, I was eventually able to close the emulator, and shut down the system from the emulation station menu and then slid the power switch off and it shut down. Even when I closed the game the emulation station menu was acting slowly as well.

My Question, has anyone experienced this huge slow down when the low battery prompt was trying to display itself on screen. I am wondering if this is out of the ordinary. For reference this is the first time I have actually seen the low battery warning, and I was playing super mario 3 on NES.
