Re: Retropie, white screen
In your fist pic, underneath the ribbon cable and in between your red and black wire is a a little tuning knob, have you played with that yet? I had to tune that to get pic on my screen.
Re: Retropie, white screen
I've just played with the knob. And my screen become more dark but nothing. Just few vertical lines....
I think, I've broken something.

Re: Retropie, white screen
You don't tell us which model of screen you actually have, but it seems some of their models require 6-12v and don't run off 5v. Have you tried a higher voltage?
Re: Retropie, white screen
OP figure this out? its my only problem right now. My setup is so basic,; i'm using 8bit oldies PCB, pi zero of course, the BW backup camera revision 8 or 9 maybe I cant remember, already converted to work off 5 volt which is confirmed working, as I had a picture before this white screen, and using powerboost 1000c. I forced SD in the config.txt but still nothing. it displays perfectly over HDMI although
Re: Retropie, white screen
i know this sounds dumb, but make sure your ribbon cable is plugged in all the way. I have the same display and had the white screen, realized it was just the ribbon cable barely plugged in

Re: Retropie, white screen
every figure out the white screen? i am having the same problem and can't figure it out.
