I change the config file to 320x240, same trouble.

I found a post (http://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=958) who describe how to test your screen.
However, the red wire is not plug where you put it.

But anyway, the PCB bord is too wide for the DMG sheel even if you cut some part on (close to the 3 buttons).
Mine fits inside the shell.

Anyways, there seems to be a lot of conflicting information, which is making this difficult.

I finally solved the "shaking" problem. However, the contrast is horrible.

Could you tell me if you have to wath the screen with an angle from above to read everything ? Maybe that is my screen, or the screen itself

Tks

I'm still really confused as to what the right way to wire this is. I've rewatched wermy's videos and he connects the white and yellow wires on the same AV input spots (square and round holes for AV1). Did he do that wrong or am I missing something here?

Wiring both the white and yellow to the tv and ground pins is fine (if you solder white to ground it will do nothing). But there really is no reason to solder the white wire to anything. Just solder the yellow wire to the tv pin, black to the ground pin beside or your power strip, and red to your power strip. (Only solder the red wire to the pi to test the screen, it's better in the end to solder it to the power strip). Also, in your pics it looks like the solder on the red wire is quite close to the ground pin on the pi. Make sure they aren't bridged. (PP1 and PP6).

Also did you ever get the screen to stop smoking or did you need to replace it?

So did you do the 5V jumper or not?

The black/ground wire can go to the pin next to the TV pin, it doesn't matter.

Hello,

i have the same PCB and i'll want to know where you solder the ground( black cable ). Is it on the ground of the element you remove XL1509 or to another element ?

And when i'm trying to remove the XL1509, i destroy the PCB. Red squares are the ways i removed from the PCB ...

Well, it's same as here. Are you saying you removed the chip already?

Yes, i already removed the chip.

I solder the red wire to the D4 (on the south) diode ( i think is a diode ), because i can't solder my red wire to the pin 2... I hope that is the right place because i don't know at all where the pin 2 goes.

And if someone knows where the black wire goes. I think it's on the GND of the chip but not sure

Do you have a photo? I am not sure what the problem is and what you're talking about :D
