but helder's board already has a built in hub...

What did you think, is it possible to run two Controllers with the Onboard Bluetooth or is there another Chance to play with two Bluetooth Controller?

Last week I ordered a pi zero from pimoroni.com
Now I´m not sure if I would use this for the GBZ or ordering a pi zero w.

It´s my first pi projekt and I do not have the best technical knowledge and also my english is not the best.
Sorry, for that!

which is a PCB that literally just has the landing pads for D-Pad, A,B,X,Y, start, select. there are loads about from before the AIO's became a thing. one of which was made by helder and orderable directly from OSHPark.
just so there's no mistake, it looks like this:

it doesn't have ANYTHING on it except PCB traces and points to connect to something else

oh. Forgot his first boards didn't have a hub.

So why would you order one from ophshark rather than just use a USB hub which is just a few bucks and free 2 day from amazon? Is it worth ordering on ophshark and buying a controller to take the Bluetooth controller rather than just buying a few dollar hub?

Neither is necessarily better, just another option

It all depends what your after too! The more additional components you add into the pi will all add up the power usage.

Using a board with no hub, wired directly to gpio pins will last longer on battery than using a hub, and a teensy to do the same job
Get a small cheep LCD in your project https://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=2312
Wrap it all round a battery https://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2292
Or use a custom PCB to make it really small https://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2512
or make it really really really really tiny!! https://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2919

My Microcenter doesn't have the Pi Zero W in-store yet. Hopefully next week. I'm thinking of using the wifi for data transfer with my home PC. Maybe I'll write a small game-sync program that lets you select which games you want and takes care of file management for you. Does anybody know if something like this already exists?
